Visited here on a nice sunny afternoon, for a quick drink and bar snack. Has a decent enough rustic outdoor area overlooking the river, a nice little sun trap - then again there are quite a few of those in York. Nothing wow, but I'd expect it's popular enough with younger crowds especially. I'd say it's also a popular evening drinking venue too!
So much fun. The cocktails are amazing and the staff are so upbeat and keep the whole atmosphere alive. Would definitely recommend for a hen party

Cheap drinks, lovely musical selection, friendly staff and a colourful dance floor
Want to say a BIG thank you to a regular who found my phone and ecig in the loo on Saturday night and very kindly handed it into a member of staff. I got them back the night after and the phone still works fine, thanks again to all who helped!!!

Both myself and my wife visited your club yesterday 1/6/18, we thoroughly enjoyed it and we will certainly be making frequent visits, it's a lovely condition course, recommended to anyone who wants to play a good course, the only downside from my point of view is the price of the buggy at 25 pounds. Best regards, David & Caroline Robinson.
Course in good condition and the hospitality was very good.

This was our first time trying Footgolf and we both loved it! It's a really good way to exercise as well- we did 2 rounds of 12 holes and managed nearly 10000 steps. Would highly recommend!
Brilliant, we did it as a group of 20 lads, split up into groups of 5 and made our way round, good course with plenty of different holes, only 9 holes to go round but I think 18 would be too many, good selection of different beers on draft and bottles, would benefit a caddy flying round in a golf cart selling beers when you don't take enough with you. Recommended to anyone well spent £12.

I was given a golf lesson as a birthday gift, what a great present it turned out to be. I'm a total beginner, yet after a few shots, Michael encouraged me by saying I had a decent natural swing. I would highly recommend The York Golf Academy. Michael's calm, informative method of teaching was very enjoyable. I shall definitely return for some more practice sessions and look forward to the day I'm ready for a golf course.
After my lesson in June, just been back for a refresher. Took my wife for a lesson as well and her confidence was much improved. As last time, an excellent session and both helpful and productive. Follow up email from Michael is a good reminder of what to focus on. We would both recommend a visit. We intend to go back again to make sure we are still on track.

A good place to meet friends and/or colleagues for a drink and chat. Especially when it's sunny & warm enough to sit ourside on the terrace. As someone no longer wanting or able (medically) to imbibe, then the coffee options were first class. Naturally as a SPORTS CLUB then...it's a good location to watch sport ...whether live, immediately outside ...or on the various large screens easily visible around the room.
Slimmingworlds great. Nice place.

Fantastic place for the Community to come together. It's home to more than one charity, each one suits specific age group, and abilities. The fun days that are held here enable all the groups to come together as one. Those who run Door 84 deserve a medal for bringing everyone together and for the hard work they do to keep the charities up and running, making them available to everyone and promoting the charities through many forms of media. Five stars guys. 😀
Good place to get kids out of the house

My wife and I went there in search for temporary lodging. They don't have facilities for hosting people, yet the fellow that talked to us was nice in indicating other places where we might find rent.
